Add a commuter area to your card
If you choose a Rejsekort Personal, you can add a commuter area to the card if you need it. In such case, you will prepay a set amount to travel in certain zones. Outside the zones, you will travel with all the benefits of a Rejsekort. This card type is called Rejsekort with commuter combination.
If you no longer need to commute, just refrain from renewing the period, and the card will function as a regular Rejsekort.
You can choose to add a commuter area to your Rejsekort if you have a Rejsekort Personal. In such case, you will prepay a set amount to travel freely in the zones of your choice. If you travel outside your commuter area, you will only be charged for the part of the journey that is outside the chosen area.
Add a period through our Self Service

You can always see your commuter area or when the period expires by logging in to our Self Service or by inserting your card into a Rejsekort Vending Machine. Should you choose not to renew the period, your Rejsekort will work as a regular Rejsekort.
Because you share it with others, you cannot add a commuter area to your Rejsekort Flex. You can use our online Self Service and apps, but will get a smaller discount than with a Rejsekort Personal when you travel on Funen and in Jutland.
