Closure of Rejsekort Anonymous – how to get your money
When the physical Rejsekort closes, you can have the money on the card (remaining balance) paid out and, in some cases, also receive part of the card price (remaining card value).
What you can have paid out – and when – depends on when you close the card and how you choose to receive the payment.
Your options up to and including 14 June 2026
Option 1: Close the card at a sales outlet
You can have the card closed and the money on the card paid out immediately.
The payout can be made:
- to your payment card
or - in cash, if you wish to remain anonymous
Please note that sales outlets may have limited cash available for cash payouts.
You will not receive the remaining card value if you close the card before 15 June 2026.

Option 2: Fill in the web form - The web form is only available in Danish, as the funds can only be paid out to a Danish NemKonto
You can fill in a web form and have the money transferred to your bank account.
The payout will only take place after 15 June 2026, regardless of when you complete the web form.
Via the web form, you can receive:
- the remaining balance
- and possibly the remaining card value, if you meet the conditions (see below)
Please note that you will lose your anonymity when using the web form, as your personal details are required for Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S to complete your payout.

Your options from 16 June 2026 up to and including 28 May 2027
You can have the money on the card (and any remaining card value) paid out:
- at one of the following five sales outlets:
- DSB: Copenhagen Central Station (KH)
- DSB: Aarhus Central Station
- DSB: Odense Station
- NT: Aalborg Bus Terminal
- Fynbus: Odense Banegårdscenter (OBC North Platform H)
- via the web form, which you will find further down this page
Cash payout depends on the cash available at the sales outlet.
Please note: When using the web form, you will lose your anonymity. The web form is only available in Danish, as the funds can only be paid out to a Danish NemKonto
Important information about remaining card value
You can only receive the remaining card value if:
- your Rejsekort Anonymous was purchased no later than 14 December 2024,
and - you do not close the card before 29 May 2026.
The remaining card value:
- is part of the DKK 80 you paid for the card
- will always be less than DKK 80, as the card has already been used
- is calculated and paid out only after 15 June 2026
Have you lost your Rejsekort Anonymous?
If your card has been lost, it cannot be closed, and the money on the card cannot be paid out, as described in the Rejsekort card terms and conditions for Personal, Flex and Anonymous cards.
Important deadlines
The final deadline for payout is 28 May 2027.
After this date, the card will be closed automatically, and it will no longer be possible to have money or remaining card value paid out.
